Our new one-stop-shop for jobs in health and social care

Health and social care providers are being invited to advertise their job opportunities on the new Caring Careers website.

This free-of-charge resource will launch on 1 April, and is aimed at strengthening the ability of providers to fill their vacancies quickly and smoothly.

The platform:

  • Enables health and social care providers to advertise job opportunities efficiently, at zero cost, connecting Bury residents to working opportunities.
  • Allows jobseekers to upload their CV and apply for available opportunities onsite from their personalised dashboard.
  • Encourages all to share and promote training opportunities.
  • Provides useful information about pursuing a career in the health and social care sector.
  • Provides real time notifications to jobseekers when suitable job becomes available, and for employers when an application or an enquiry is received.

Care providers and those looking for a job can visit the Caring Careers website here and register for an account: this link will be live from 1 April: www.jobsinbury.co.uk

Once you’ve registered, visit the Bury Directory Twitter account @BuryDirectory to see how you can be in with the chance of winning a £100 gift card or an Apple iPad.

Councillor Andrea Simpson, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Our health and social care staff are truly indispensable, as exemplified throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Ensuring that care providers can quickly recruit staff is essential, and this new resource should enable them to do that.”
