Radcliffe regeneration on the agenda

The regeneration of Radcliffe town centre will be top of the agenda when the local Township Forum meets on Thursday 19 September.

Councillor Mike Connolly, leader of Bury Council, will give a presentation on this item, which specifically focuses on the refurbishment of Radcliffe Market and the provision of a new bus station.

Also to be discussed at the meeting is the Draft Local Flood Risk Management Strategy, on which public consultation has just started.

There will also be updates from the forum’s Advisory Group and about the Township Area Plan.

The meeting is at Radcliffe Civic Hall and starts at 6pm. The usual open forum and public question time will take place in the second half of the meeting.
