​So you want to be a rock and roll star?

Budding young rock stars can create their own music using code at the latest Explore Computing sessions using the Sonic Pi interface on the Raspberry Pi.

The workshops are for those aged 9 to 13, are suitable for those with no coding experience, and you may even end up performing your masterpiece in a live coding environment!

Sessions:

* Monday 24 Oct - Castle Sports and Leisure Library (call 0161 253 5872)

* Tuesday 25 Oct - Ramsbottom Library (0161 253 5352)

* Wednesday 26 Oct - Prestwich Library (0161 253 7214)

All sessions run from 2.30pm to 4pm, and cost £3 per child (refreshments will be provided).

Places are limited - book at one of above libraries, or call the number.
