What would get you walking and cycling?

Press release -

What would get you walking and cycling?

All Bury residents are being invited to complete a new walking and cycling survey – especially those who don’t do much of either!

Bury Walking and Cycling Forum wants to hear from as wide a range of individuals as possible. It says a truly representative picture of people’s behaviour is needed in order to improve walking and cycling opportunities and remove barriers that make it difficult for people to include these activities in their daily lives.

The forum has been running since October 2020 following the launch of Bury’s Public Health: Physical Activity and Sport Strategy 2020–2025, which aims to get 75% of Bury’s population moving more by 2025.

To take part in the survey, go to https://www.onecommunitybury.co.uk/moving-more-through-walking-and-cycling-survey

You can engage with Bury Walking and Cycling Forum on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/burywalkingandcycling

Or, if you would prefer to receive information by email, send a message to sports.development@bury.gov.ukand your name will be added to the mailing list.
