When computers go wrong - meet novelist Robin Reid

Readers are invited to meet author Robin Reid at Unsworth Library on Thursday 8 December at 7pm.

He will be talking about his first novel “SAM” which explores unexpected uses of computer technology and the sometimes dire consequences when things go wrong.

Main character Richard has a quest, an obsession, which will cost him his wife, his son and his house, and a string of debts; yet he is sure he can fix all this once he has finished programming his Super-Adaptive Module (SAM). Before he knows it, Richard is at the centre of a crisis in London. Many lives are at stake and Richard must go on the run from Delta Guard, a top secret government agency ruthlessly determined to stamp out terrorism.

Tickets are £4 (refreshments included), available from Ticketlight https://bury-council-libraries.ticketlight.co.uk/ or Unsworth Library (0161 253 7560).
