This Carer's Week (10-16 June) we’ve talked about the support available to you if you look after an adult. A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for an adult friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.

Carers Week, which runs from 6 to 12 June, is an annual campaign that recognises the vital contribution of the UK’s unpaid carers – supporting family members and friends who are older, have a disability, mental or physical illness or need extra help as they grow older.
Bury is preparing to celebrate the invaluable work that thousands of carers across the borough do every day of the year.
The hundreds of Bury people who provide unpaid care to the most vulnerable can take part in wide range of activities during Carers Week (8-14 June).
