Focus on behaviour can bring fuel savings

The “Esvagt Gamma” is taking part in a project to strengthen environmental awareness and change behaviour.

Norwegian Havyard Ship Technology has designed the vessel. The hull will be built in Gdansk at the Nauta Shipyard and will be ready to tow to Leirvik in Norway for outfitting in January 2016.

The identity and values behind the shipping company are united in the ’ESVAGT Standard’. The latest rescue operation in the North Sea shows that this standard lives and thrives.

In the words of CEO, Søren Nørgaard Thomsen, ”it was an incredibly lucky Dutch skipper” that the crew from the ’”Esvagt Connector” rescued from the North Sea on 9 Sep 2015. The crew received thanks and tokens of appreciation in memory of the rescue.
