Sitecore Positioned as a Leader in 2012 Magic Quadrant Report on Web Content Management
London – September 17, 2012 – Sitecore today announced its leadership position in the 2012 Gartner report “Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management,” demonstrating both completeness of vision and ability to execute.
Sitecore CEO, Michael Seifert, states, “We believe Gartner’s recognition of Sitecore’s growth and progress in the WCM market highlights our evolution from core WCM to customer engagement. WCM technology is at the heart of everything we do. Therefore, we are extremely passionate about developing software that helps companies anticipate the needs of their customers so that every interaction is a positive experience. We encourage marketers to consider the positive revenue impact that a content-based customer engagement platform can deliver.”
Gartner points out “three trends have altered the Web content management market since 2011: social media, mobile computing and the inclusion of WCM in more comprehensive solutions oriented toward online channel optimisation. Buyers are looking for different capabilities and are changing how they buy WCM products.”
Sitecore has added customer intelligence insights to a proven Web content management platform. This powerful combination of data and content all in one platform offers a unified view of a customer that enables marketers to sense and adapt to real-time customer behaviour. The outcome is a unique experience most relevant to that customer at any time of interaction.
