Press release -

Norway joins the space race!

Visit Norway are reactivating last year’s campaign success – “Norwegian Space Travel”. A campaign that is all about Norway’s spacious environment, clean air, out-of-this-world views and thrilling activities in wide-spread nature and in our small(ish), but bustling cities. The campaign will highlight these traits in order to communicate that Norway is a safe and exiting destination as the world starts to recover from the pandemic.

You know who else really has a thing for space? Billionaires.

Right know a historic space race is taking place between some of the world’s richest men. They even bring tourists along, one supposedly spending up to a staggering $28 billion dollars.

Well, we can´t let them have all the fun on their own, now can we?!

So, we decided that the only thing better than sending a tourist to space, is beating the billionaires to it. So, on July 10th, Norway will send one lucky tourist into space a full day before the billionaires raise their rockets. And we will do it for only 35 bucks. Letting the whole world know, that while billionaires orbit the planet, anyone can enjoy the amazing views from Norwegian Space.

And for the record... We won’t be going to outer space, but to Norwegian Space - which luckily for most is right here on planet earth. It won’t cost you millions of dollars to get there either. But that’s all we can say for now.

TUNE IN in to our Facebook page on July 10 at 15:00 GMT+2/9 AM EST, and watch our event from Norway - before certain billionaires even launch their rockets!
