Stockholm Events in August 2013

August is packed with events and music festivals in Stockholm: Starting off with Stockholm Pride, followed by Stockholm Music & Arts, Stockholm Culture festival, Popaganda and classical music festivals like Baltic Sea festival, and sporting events such as Samsung Diamond League and Triathlon World Championship. The prestigious music award Polar Music Prize is also awarded in August.

  • Stockholm Culture Festival in August

    With 600 events taking place throughout the city center, Stockholm Culture Festival is one of the most popular returning events in Stockholm.   • Royal presence at Polar Music Prize

    The Polar Music Prize is one of the most prestigious music prizes in the world. The Prize will be awarded by H M King Carl XVI Gustaf to Mr. Youssou N’Dour (Senegal) and Mrs Kaija Saariaho (Finland) on Tuesday the 27th of August at the Stockholm Concert hall.
