New Organizational Reforms and Personnel Changes at Yamaha Motor

IWATA, June 30, 2022 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the following organizational reforms and personnel changes, effective July 1, 2022

 

■Organizational Reforms (effective July 1, 2022)

1. Human Resources & General Affairs Center

Human Resources & General Affairs Division will be reorganized in order to improve its ability to promote the achievement of the goals of the mid-term plan in the human resources strategy.

・The name of Global Human Resources Development Division will be changed to Global Human Resources Division.

・Transfer the functions of transfer and assignment management of core positions and diversity promotion functions of Human Resources Strategy Division to Global Human Resources Division.

 

2. Robotics Business Unit

Robotics Business Unit will be reorganized to centralize and accelerate sales strategy planning and decision-making in response to the market expansion of the surface mounter business.

・SMT Domestic Sales & Marketing Division and SMT Overseas Sales & Marketing Division of Sales & Marketing Section will be consolidated and will be newly established as SMT Sales & Marketing Division in order to promptly respond to cross-border projects and to implement sales measures closely tailored to the characteristics of each region.
