JYSK has chosen Willy Naessens Netherlands as contractor for the global home furnishing chain’s new distribution centre in the Netherlands. The family-owned construction company will manage the complete construction, which will be certified according to the international sustainability standard LEED.
To further support JYSK’s ambitious expansion plans for more stores in Spain and Portugal, the global retail company will strengthen its logistics setup with a new distribution centre in Almenara, south of Castellón.
JYSK takes responsibility and saves on energy in all locations throughout the organisation. This includes a decrease in electricity usage and control of temperature regulating appliances.
JYSK’s new, state-of-the-art distribution centre in Ecser, Hungary, has officially been inaugurated with a ceremony attended by government officials from Hungary and top executives from JYSK.
With an investment of more than 100 million EUR in a brand new distribution center in Bozhuristhe near Sofia, JYSK has invested heavily in Bulgaria. Thursday March 7 this was rewarded when JYSK received the prize as Investor of the Year in Bulgaria .
Politicians, entrepreneurs and representatives from the top management of JYSK will meet in Bozhuristhe on May 30th at 2.30 pm to mark first sod for the construction of JYSK’s new distribution centre.
