Stjärnkocken Mathias Dahlgrens hyllade restaurang Seafood Gastro på Grand Hôtel i Stockholm erbjuder en avsmakningsmeny bestående av akvatiska råvaror som lever i, vid eller på vattnet. Fredagen den 19 april är det premiär för restaurangens gastronomiska fredagsluncher som erbjuder både den fullständiga avsmakningsmenyn samt en selekterad version med en kortare sittningstid.

Autumn is quietly making its presence felt, and our menu reflects the season’s changes at Matbaren. Among the dishes, you’ll find our steamed cod with butter-stewed chanterelles, scallions, and trout roe—a classic favorite of ours, now reimagined with a touch of autumn. 

’Matbaren’ edition is an ideal wine to it with its complex yet approachable companion to food, especially Nordic cuisine. It’s a wine that leaves you craving a second glass. 

We are also serving cloudberries with punch sabayon, vanilla ice cream, almonds, and spruce shoots - the perfect end to your meal. The Lapland cloudberries are gently mashed with sugar and served with a sabayon, where we’ve added a twist by using Flagg Punch, enhancing the flavors of both the cloudberries and the vanilla ice cream. To finish, we drizzle the dish with an oil made from spruce shoots sourced from Värmland.

On September 26th we’re celebrating with an evening dedicated to lobster and Kalix vendace roe in our Private Dining room - cause it’s finally time for the Swedish lobster season! 

Ronny Söderqvist, who has over 30 years of experience as a fishmonger, will be our expert for the night as we prepare an exclusive eight-course menu featuring lobster and Kalix roe. For those interested, a carefully curated beverage package is available to perfectly complement each dish.
