Eric Martin of Florida Business Wins Prestigious Award at Southeast Regional Rally

This past weekend, hundreds of sales and marketing professionals from all over the Southeast, travelled to Jacksonville to attend the first-ever Southeast Regional Rally where Managing Director of Florida Business Consulting, Eric Martin, was among a number of keynote speakers at the event, and also won big, as the recipient of a highly coveted award.

Held at the Lexington Hotel & Conference Center, on Sunday, June 3rd, the event was both an awards ceremony and conference. Those in attendance ranged from rookies to some of the most high profile figures within the industry. The day commenced at 12 p.m. in the Windward & Starboard Suites, where awards were given out by four of the most successful business owners in the US. Multiple Southeast Brand Ambassador awards were handed out to recognize individuals who are consistently generating results focused on both quality and quantity. There were then three individual awards handed out which included; Southeast Century Club, Southeast Top Sales and Southeast Comeback Owner, which saw Eric Martin announced as the winner.

“The award was recognition of the work we have done over the last twelve months. This isn’t just my award, it’s a team effort, and I’m ecstatic that we’ve been recognized by our peers,” Stated Mr Martin.

After the awards ceremony, there was a thirty-minute refreshment break, where afterwards attendees were separated into four groups. Group one was rookies; group two was leaders with under three team members, group four was leaders with over three team members, and group four was Administrators.

Managing Director of Florida Business Consulting, Eric Martin was invited to speak to the group of rookies. He was among five guest speakers who addressed delegates on various subjects including; sales skills, time management, leadership and business development. Mr Martin spoke about employee versus entrepreneur mentality, a topic he is very passionate about. The award-winning entrepreneur believes that for people to experience real success, they need to adopt an entrepreneur mentality and take control of their career.

After the individual meetings had ended, attendees were brought back together for another awards ceremony. Multiple individuals received a Southeast Rising Star award for their consistent performance and showing the most promise. There were then three individual awards handed out including; Southeast Most Improved Business Owner, Southeast Rookie Business Owner and the highly coveted Southeast Business Owner of the Year.

After the formalities were over, delegates had the opportunity to attend a drinks reception, held in the Ballroom Foyer between 7-9p.m. This more relaxed and informal setting allowed attendees to socialize and build relationships with like-minded professionals.
