Golvabia deploys modern integration solution to automate and unify data flows

Golvabia, a Swedish company, produces and sells different types of flooring to retailers and consumers. It´s a business where stock balance, as well as large volumes of product data and material specifications, must be available and updated 24/7. Quotation requests, orders and invoicing also need to be managed in an organised and coherent manner. To handle these demands and stimulate growth and new revenues, Golvabia has chosen to pull together its different subsystems and data using an integration engine.

By using Blue Integrator, Golvabia can efficiently deal with various file formats and systems available to the company's customers and suppliers. For Golvabia, the integration solution has provided significant time savings while minimizing the risk of errors caused by manual work and typing errors. This is especially important when, for example, information about dimensions, design, materials and certifications must always be current and available.

“We think long-term in everything we do and therefore want a flexible and future-proof solution that, as far as possible, can automate our data flows. It is also important to be able to meet new requirements and demands from our customers and suppliers. Another crucial aspect is to have the shortest possible lead times from order to delivery. We are a relatively small player in this industry, but by working proactively and offering a high level of availability and service, we have created a competitive advantage”, comments Peter Albertsson, CEO of Golvabia.

Enables expansion into new markets
Today, Golvabia's largest markets are Sweden and Norway. Through increased digitization and the deployment of a modern IT platform, the company has created the technology platform it needs to expand into new territories.

“Since Blue Integrator integrates our Jeeves ERP-system with Storm, an e-commerce solution, we have created an environment which will enable us to connect with resellers in new markets. By having a cohesive platform, it no longer matters how we receive an order. The integration engine has made us extremely agile. Now, when we now receive an order, we no longer need to worry about formats, as we have the technology in place to manage many different data scenarios”, Peter Albertsson continues.

“Today, Blue Integrator is a cost-effective hub in all our integrations. Things that previously could take a long time to resolve are now handled quickly and efficiently, concludes Peter Albertsson.

Golvabia's integration solution means:

• Time saving - significantly less administration

• Increased quality - less manual work - fewer sources of error - no typos

• Cohesive information - communicates with both customers and suppliers
