BookBeat’s First Quarter of 2025: 16 Percent Growth and Record Number of New Users

The streaming service BookBeat continues to grow steadily, and revenues grew by 16 percent during the first quarter of 2025 compared to 2024. The growth is driven by an increasing number of paying users. The quarter also saw the highest influx of new trial users ever recorded by BookBeat, both in the mature markets such as Finland, Germany and Sweden as well as internationally.

A leading streaming service for audiobooks

BookBeat is one of Europe's leading streaming services for audiobooks and e-books. The company was founded in 2015 and is owned by Bonnier Books, one of Europe’s leading publishing companies. In May 2016 the first broad launch was initiated on the Swedish market. Today, BookBeat has more than 150 employees located in Stockholm, Karlstad, Berlin, Oslo, Helsinki and Warsaw. As of today, BookBeat is available in 28 European markets and has over 700 000 paying users.
