AMAC Aerospace Turkey: 12-Year Inspection Accomplished on Boeing B737-700IGW
At the end of September, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Bodrum, redelivered a privately owned Boeing B737-700IGW after completed a 12-year inspection. For the check, the entire cabin had to be removed and reinstalled. The scope of work also included a full dry area inspection and necessary structural repairs.
In addition, the cabin was partially refurbished and six modifications were performed, such as installation of a non-textile floor and structural items. AMAC Aerospace Bodrum collaborated with its sister company JCB Aero on the carpet replacement. It was ordered from JCB Aero and they sent a team to Bodrum for the installation. Lastly, the auxiliary center tank was removed, inspected and reinstalled.
The customer was very pleased with the support received from AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Bodrum, and plans to return for their next maintenance and modifications.
