AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Accomplished Maintenance on Dassault Falcon 2000
A Dassault Falcon 2000 belonging to a long term customer arrived at AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s hangar in Istanbul for a 12-month and 400-flight-hour inspection, including several servicing and cleaning tasks. AMAC Aerospace’s team performed lubrication of the landing gear, fire extinguisher checks, VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Range) operational tests and replaced one of the flight control actuators as required by the component maintenance program.
During air data tests, the team observed minor faults and replaced the air data unit (ADU) and angle of attack (AOA) sensor. The team also found unserviceable lights in some external areas and replaced the faulty parts as necessary. Lastly, they applied corrosion protection to missing areas.
