AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Base Maintenance Performed on Dassault Falcon F7X
In late June, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, conducted a 24-month inspection of a Dassault Falcon F7X. The aircraft also underwent periodic engine inspections and borescope tasks.
Due to CH-05-20 component maintenance requirements, several components and hard time units had to be replaced. Additionally, some faulty units were replaced with serviceable ones.
The maintenance was expected to take 12 days, precisely timed to the customer's flight schedule. However, due to the findings observed, the total man hours required increased by almost the double. Therefore, AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s Istanbul team put in extra shifts and worked overtime to release the aircraft on time. The operator was extremely happy with the process.
