AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Engine Mount Inspections on Dassault Falcon 2000 and 2000EX EASy

AMAC Aerospace is pleased to have performed engine mount inspections on a Dassault Falcon 2000 and 2000EX EASy aircraft at the hangar in Istanbul, Turkey. The inspections were performed due to hard time component requirements.

The F2000 engine was removed for NDT (non-destructive testing) off the mount at AMAC Aerospace’s Bodrum facility, which has the capability to perform engine mount NDT in-house. In addition to the engine tasks, several airframe tasks were completed on the standby batteries and landing gear. Lastly, air data tests and water sterilization were performed.

The F2000EX EASy's engine mounts were visually inspected and both engines were removed. During that time, one of the engines was received back from shop after being repaired. By using the advantage of this ground time, the loaner engine was sent and the original engine was reinstalled on the aircraft.
