AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Line Maintenance and Defect Rectification Performed on Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy
A Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy belonging to a long term customer arrived at AMAC Aerospace’s hangar in Istanbul, Turkey, for a 150-250-hour engine inspection. The engine generator brushes were also inspected and the three generator brushes were replaced because they were approaching the worn-out limit.
During the aircraft’s stay, a 2-month inspection and landing gear servicing were conducted, along with other out-of-phase tasks. AMAC Aerospace’s team also replaced the aircraft’s wheels due to their condition and found that the subject brake unit was damaged. They ordered a new part immediately and replaced it with a serviceable one.
