AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Maintenance Accomplished on Dassault Falcon 8X and 7X Aircraft

At the beginning of November, AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Istanbul, completed maintenance on several Dassault Falcon 8X and 7X aircraft.

One Dassault Falcon 8X came for a 2-month inspection and periodic database updates. In addition, brake heat sink inspections were performed. One of the brake assemblies was found worn to the limit, so the team replaced it with a serviceable unit.

They also updated the periodic database on a Dassault Falcon 7X outside the base, as per occasional line maintenance request.

Another Dassault Falcon 7X arrived at the Istanbul hangar because the thrust reverser system was inoperative due to a failure. AMAC Aerospace’s team inspected the issue and found that the thrust reverser door electro-hydraulic lock was unserviceable, so they replaced the part. Thereafter, the system activated accordingly. Lastly, the team performed an engine run and system check, as well as oil servicing.
