AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Redelivered 3x Boeing B737 Aircraft

AMAC Aerospace Turkey, Bodrum is pleased to announce the redelivery of 3x Boeing B737 aircraft following successful completed maintenance.

The first aircraft was a VIP BBJ 737-900 belonging to a long term customer of AMAC Aerospace Group of Companies that underwent a C check. This maintenance included removing and installing the cabin, galley, aft cargo compartment, auxiliary fuel tank, fan blade, and forward dry area, as well as fan blade lubrication and replacement of 42 oxygen generators.

The second aircraft, a VIP BBJ 737 MAX, arrived for an A1 and A2 inspection, as well as out-of-phase work. This scope included removing and installing VIP seats and divans, washing the engines, and performing a borescope inspection on one engine, as well as updating the flight management system (FMS) and the enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS) databases. The customer had scheduled flights to catch, so AMAC Aerospace’s team worked overtime to finish on time and redeliver the aircraft to a very happy customer.

The third aircraft was a commercial Boeing B737-800 belonging to a long term customer. It came in for a C check, which included inspections of the dry and wet areas and removal and installation of the auxiliary power unit (APU), galley, lavatory and aft and forward cargo, cabin ceiling and sidewall. During the inspections, cracks were found on the vapor barrier and upper hinge box of the galley door, prompting significant avionics modification work.
