    Cityboat goes green with electric harbour cruises. Newly formed Cityboat — a joint venture between Norwegian express boat company Rødne and tourism expert Viking Adventure — has ordered the electric "Hyke F-15 Shuttle". The 15-metre vessel, built in Hardanger, will offer silent, emission-free experiences around Haugesund's scenic island archipelago from late 2026.

The catamaran Rygerstraum, built by Oma Baatbyggeri and delivered in 2027, will carry up to 282 passengers. Running partly on batteries, it will reduce emissions and support more sustainable tourism in Western Norway.
