  • Havila Voyages featured in TIME's annual list of World's Greatest Places 2024

    Havila Voyages’ coastal cruise ships Havila Pollux and Havila Polaris have been featured as some of the exciting new places in the just revealed TIME annual list of the World’s Greatest Places, which highlights 100 extraordinary destinations to visit and stay. To compile this list, TIME solicits nominations of places – including hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, and more.

  • Erna Solberg named Havila Pollux

    On Monday, the coastal cruise ship Havila Pollux was named at Bryggen in Bergen by godmother Erna Solberg, former Prime Minister of Norway. "A very beautiful ship," says Solberg after the naming ceremony.

  • Round trip cancelled

    Unfortunately, Havila Pollux must cancel the round trip scheduled to start from Bergen on Monday, May 13. The naming ceremony the same day will go as planned.

  • Parts of the route cancelled

    Due to a storm warning with gusts of up to hurricane force in Hustadvika on Saturday, the coastal route ship Havila Pollux cancels the sailing Trondheim - Bergen - Trondheim. Havila Capella also cancels parts of its northbound route.

  • Havila Pollux back in route

    The coastal cruise ship Havila Pollux is resuming its route from Trondheim on Tuesday, November 7th. Havila Voyages has also conducted new emission measurements and has reported a 37% reduction in CO2 emissions on their ships.

  • Technical issues on Havila Pollux

    On Monday morning, Havila Pollux experienced technical problems with an electric motor, which means that the ship must cancel its ongoing voyage.

  • All ships in route along the coast

    The coastal cruise ship Havila Pollux departed from Bergen on Wednesday evening, marking the inclusion of all of Havila Voyages vessels in service along the historic coastal route between Bergen and Kirkenes.

  • Havila Pollux completes the fleet

    Early Thursday morning, Havila Pollux arrived in Norway from the Tersan shipyard in Turkey, completing the fleet of Havila Voyages. A few hours later she docked behind her sister ship, Havila Polaris.

  • Havila Voyages’ suites named after Norwegian lighthouses

    The largest suites on Havila Voyages’ Norwegian Coastal route ships are named after lighthouses along the Norwegian coast. The names of the lighthouse suites on Havila Polaris and Havila Pollux are now being revealed.
