Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) is entering a new era of year-round cruising, with a record number of calls outside the traditional summer season. These developments are a major advantage for the destinations, as off-season calls allow guests the opportunity to explore local attractions, enjoy cultural experiences, and contribute to the regional economy throughout the year.
At a ceremony held in Hamburg on September 10, Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) was awarded the prestigious Seatrade Cruise Award for Port of the Year 2025.
2024 was an impressive year for cruise at Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) – and 2025 looks even better. The year 2024 exceeded expectations for cruise passenger numbers, with a total just short of 1 million guests across Malmö, Visby and Copenhagen. In 2025, CMP expects to surpass the 1 million mark.
A record number of cruise calls and guests is expected during November through January in Visby and Copenhagen.
