AtechX und JM schließen Partnerschaft für Innovationen im Wohnungsbau

AtechX, das Scale-up-Programm von Aroundtown, erweitert sein internationales Partnernetzwerk um JM, ein skandinavisches Wohnungsbauunternehmen. Im Rahmen der Partnerschaft erhält JM frühzeitig Zugang zu innovativen Technologien und Geschäftsmodellen aus dem internationalen Start-up-Ökosystem von AtechX, während von AtechX geförderte Start-ups Branchenexpertise gewinnen und ihre Lösungen im JM-Portfolio testen und weiterentwickeln können.

Daraus können gemeinsame Pilotprojekte und Kooperationen sowie perspektivisch auch Investments in ausgewählte Unternehmen entstehen. Gleichzeitig profitieren die teilnehmenden Start-ups von der Branchenkenntnis und praktischen Erfahrung von JM. Gemeinsam sollen insbesondere Lösungen gefunden und weiterentwickelt werden, die die Effizienz steigern, Vorlaufzeiten verkürzen und den Ressourceneinsatz in der Wohnungsentwicklung und im Bau reduzieren.

JM bringt umfassende Expertise in Wohnungsentwicklung und Bau in das AtechX-Netzwerk ein. Im Fokus stehen unter anderem innovative Materialien mit geringerem Klimaeinfluss und Kreislauffähigkeit, neue Energiesysteme sowie Technologien zur Automatisierung von Design- und Bauprozessen. Ziel ist es, frühzeitig Lösungen zu identifizieren, die sowohl einen konkreten Mehrwert für das operative Geschäft schaffen als auch zu effizienteren und ressourcenschonenderen Bauprozessen beitragen können.

AtechX and JM enter partnership to advance innovation in residential construction

AtechX, Aroundtown’s scale-up programme, is expanding its international partner network with JM, a Nordic residential property developer and construction company. Through the partnership, JM will gain early access to innovative technologies and business models from AtechX’s international start-up ecosystem, while start-ups supported by AtechX will be able to gain industry expertise, test and further develop their solutions across JM’s portfolio.

The collaboration may lead to joint pilot projects and partnerships, as well as potential investments in selected companies over time. Participating start-ups will also benefit from JM’s industry expertise and practical experience. Together, the partners will focus on identifying and further developing solutions that improve efficiency, reduce lead times and resource utilization in residential development and construction.

JM contributes extensive expertise in residential development and construction to the AtechX network. Key areas of focus include innovative materials with a lower climate impact and circularity, new energy systems, and technologies for automating design and construction processes. The aim is to identify solutions at an early stage that can create tangible value for day-to-day operations while also contributing to more efficient and resource-conscious construction processes.
