H2 MOBILITY and HOYER Group Sign Contract for Hydrogen Logistics
The HOYER Group has signed a contract with H2 MOBILITY, the largest operator of hydrogen filling stations in Germany. The HOYER Group, the international logistics provider for liquid goods, will initially assume responsibility for supplying hydrogen filling stations in the Rhine-Neckar region and will be responsible for both transport and volume management.
With this step, the globally active family-owned company HOYER is strengthening its position as a leading provider of gas logistics in Germany. The HOYER Group is continuously expanding its hydrogen footprint, both with logistics expertise and by building its own hydrogen fleet. Investments and market growth are managed by an internal New Energies focus group that focuses in depth on equipment and services in the hydrogen sector.
"We are very pleased to have signed the contract, which allows us to contribute our many years of experience in handling hydrogen and intelligent logistics planning," says Anna Krüger, Head of Sales for Global Gas Logistics and the New Energies focus group of the HOYER Group. "The partnership with H2 MOBILITY is an important milestone in our mission to further expand the hydrogen logistics sector and thus ensure the transition to environmentally friendly mobility. HOYER is also already gaining experience with its first fuel cell vehicles."
"We are convinced that in HOYER we have gained a reliable partner who will support us in ensuring the independent supply of our hydrogen filling stations," adds Frank Fronzke, Managing Director and COO of H2 MOBILITY. "By engaging a logistics partner, we are creating greater autonomy and security in the supply of our filling stations. At the same time, we have invested in our own hydrogen equipment, so that with HOYER we can now realize more flexible deliveries to our filling stations."
