The port and Castellum have now begun work on building a fully leased, efficient, and sustainable logistics facility through a joint venture. The tenant is the medical technology company OneMed, which plans to move in during 2026.

  • Northern European ports in collaboration receive EU Funding for onshore power for container ships

    Four Northern European ports are set to significantly reduce emissions from container ships moored at their quays. With a joint support of €18,8 million from the EU fund “Connecting Europe Facility” for the project “EU.OPS.Network”, the ports of Aarhus, Gothenburg, Bremerhaven, and Stockholm are set to provide Onshore Power Supply (OPS) to container ships calling at the ports by 2030.

    A hydrogen refueling station for heavy traffic has opened at the Port of Gothenburg during the weekend. The station is located directly adjacent to one of the port’s busiest gates, which is also one of the most truck-heavy locations in Sweden. The station exclusively supplies green hydrogen.
