Last year’s pilot program Haglöfs Restored is now officially launched. The aim with the new second hand collection is to extend the life of useful Haglöfs gear and give it a chance to experience a new lifetime of adventures.
Today, Haglöfs launches the new IC3 collection that pays tribute to their mountain heritage. Designed in close collaboration with outdoor lifestyle and performance design pathfinders Piers Thomas and Nigel Cabourn, the IC3 collection is defined by timeless craftsmanship and contemporary performance materials of the highest quality.
Haglöfs’ sales increased by 26 percent during the first half of 2021, compared to the same period last year. The strong performance is related to well-received product lines and an overall higher demand for high-quality outdoor equipment.

Haglöfs has just signed the Swedish professional climber Matilda Söderlund as their newest brand ambassador. She is the latest addition to the Haglöfs Outsiders, a team of ambassadors and athletes dedicated to exploring the world and experiencing nature at its peak. Matilda has been pushing limits on demanding routes around the world since 2003, and is the first Nordic female to climb grade 9a.
Elaine Gardiner joined Haglöfs as new Head of Sustainability in 2019, to take Haglöfs sustainability ambitions to the next level.

Despite the prevailing pandemic and turbulent market conditions, Haglöfs managed to deliver net sales for 2020 in line with last year’s strong performance. The ability to mitigate the crisis is mainly related to Haglöfs improved product mix, brand strength and digital distribution.
Haglöfs continues to push back against the excessive consumption driven by exaggerated discounting of Black Friday with their Green Friday initiative – this year, using the day to launch a new second hand concept – Haglöfs Restored.
