Three medals for HEAD in Team Combined premiere

HEAD athletes Wendy Holdener and Lara Gut-Behrami win the Silver medal with Team Switzerland 1 on Tuesday in the new Team Combined event at the World Championship in Saalbach. Team Austria 3 won bronze with Stephanie Venier from the HEAD team and Katharina Truppe.

"It was a very good and exciting event, with the top athletes competing in the Downhill and the Slalom. These two disciplines make for an interesting Combined event. While this is primarily a team event, I am very pleased that three athletes from our team won medals in the premiere of this competition," said HEAD Racing Director Rainer Salzgeber. "Wendy Holdener still has her individual events in front of her. Lara Gut-Behrami skied a solid Downhill and this medal gives a great tally so far. And it is superb that Stephanie Venier won Bronze with Team Austria 3 to notch up her second medal."
