​The world around us is data driven and interconnected. Yet it is becoming ever more evident that we need rules and not just ingenuity. Especially when it comes to trade, highly selective data and transparent processes are required when companies do business. The transactions for this business are almost exclusively cashless. In the third quarter of 2019 alone one of the largest payment services recorded some three billion payment transactions. But how do companies clear transactions properly when faced with this sheer mass of data? And how can they do business securely across continents in the digital age?
