The German e-mobility start-up, ElectricBrands, is presenting the XBUS in the UK for the first time. On 2nd June 2023 from 10 am at Crown Motors in London, interested media representatives can experience the innovative light electric vehicle first hand.

Die Autobranche und -damit der Autohandel - ist weltweit im Umbruch. E-Autos oder Car-Sharing, Klimawandel und Digitalisierung setzen Hersteller und Autohändler unter Zugzwang. Doch es gibt Lösungen: Das E-Mobility Start-up ElectricBrands unterstützt Fahrzeughändler mit einem neuen Geschäftsmodell und versucht so, den klassischen Autohandel zu rehabilitieren.

Besitzer von E-Fahrzeugen fahren umweltfreundlich und sparen CO2. Sie können CO2-Zertifikate, die sie nicht verbrauchen, an Unternehmen verkaufen und damit bis zu 360 Euro pro Jahr erzielen. Mit elektrischen Leichtfahrzeugen erlaubt die sogenannte Treibhausgasminderungs-Quote (THG-Quote) noch mal deutlich mehr Verdienst.

L'un des plus grands sous-traitants européens qui enregistre un chiffre d'affaires de plus de deux milliards d'euros produira à l'avenir le XBUS et l'Evetta pour ElectricBrands. Avec VDL Nedcar aux Pays-Bas, la start-up a ainsi gagné un partenaire de production établi avec une grande expérience dans la fabrication de ses véhicules électriques légers.

Uno dei maggiori produttori europei per conto terzi, con un fatturato di oltre due miliardi di euro, in futuro costruirà l’XBUS e l’Evetta per ElectricBrands. La start-up può così contare su VDL Nedcar nei Paesi Bassi, un partner di produzione consolidato con un’ampia esperienza, per la produzione dei suoi veicoli elettrici leggeri.

VDL Nedcar, een van Europa's grootste contractfabrikanten, met een omzet van meer dan twee miljard euro, zal in de toekomst voor ElectricBrands de XBUS en de Evetta gaan produceren. Met VDL Nedcar heeft de start-up, in Nederland, voor de fabricage van zijn lichte elektrische voertuigen, een gevestigde productiepartner gevonden, met veel ervaring.

El futuro productor del XBUS y del Evetta es uno de los mayores fabricantes europeos de automoción por encargo, cuya facturación supera los dos mil millones de euros. La empresa emergente ElectricBrands gana, con VDL Nedcar, a un sólido y experimentado colaborador en los Países Bajos para la producción de sus vehículos eléctricos ligeros.

One of Europe's largest contract manufacturers with a turnover of over two billion euros will produce the XBUS and Evetta for ElectricBrands in the future. This means that the StartUp has been able to win VDL Nedcar in the Netherlands, an established production partner with extensive experience, for the manufacture of its light electric vehicles.

Einer der größten europäischen Auftragsfertiger mit einem Umsatz von über zwei Milliarden Euro wird in Zukunft den XBUS und die Evetta für ElectricBrands produzieren. Damit hat das StartUp mit VDL Nedcar in den Niederlanden einen etablierten Produktionspartner mit großer Erfahrung für die Herstellung seiner Elektroleichtfahrzeuge gewinnen können.

The car industry in Europe is changing since the transition to electric cars has not been without consequence for many companies. That’s why they are increasingly looking at the light electric vehicles category, which has a continuous rated power of 15kW and an unladen mass of no more than 450 kg.

Der Autohandel in Europa ist im Wandel, denn die Umstellung auf E-Autos bleibt für viele Betriebe nicht ohne Folgen. Oft brauchen sie eine Neuausrichtung, die sich an den neuen Kundenbedürfnissen orientiert. Dafür schauen sie zunehmend auf die Klasse der leichten Elektrofahrzeuge, die eine Nenndauerleistung von 15kW haben und deren Gewicht als Leermasse 450 kg nicht übersteigen darf.

ElectricBrands hat einen neuen Partner. Die VR-Bank Bad Salzungen Schmalkalden eG aus Thüringen hat sich an dem deutschen Hersteller von elektrogetriebenen Leichtfahrzeugen beteiligt und unterzeichnete am 23. Januar 2023 die Verträge.

Leichtfahrzeuge könnten die Treibhausgas-Emissionen durch Verkehr in Deutschland um bis zu 40 Prozent senken. Mit dem modularen XBUS und dem Elektro-Kabinenroller Evetta stehen geeignete Konzepte Made in Germany bereit.
