  • Kappahl Group appoints Esko Österbacka as new CFO

    Kappahl Group has appointed Esko Österbacka as its new Chief Financial Officer. Esko Österbacka brings more than 25 years of experience in finance across a range of industries. He most recently served as CFO at Nordic Garden Group, which includes Blomsterlandet and Plantehallen. He will assume the position no later than the turn of the year 2026/2027.

  • Kappahl opens first kay/day store in Stockholm

    On April 24, Kappahl Group’s lifestyle brand kay/day will open its doors in Västermalmsgallerian in Stockholm, marking the brand’s first standalone store. The opening represents an important step in the development of both kay/day and Kappahl as brands.
