Löfbergs becomes Circle K’s sole coffee partner in Europe

Löfbergs is expanding its partnership with Circle K and has been appointed the chain’s sole coffee partner across all European service stations. The three-year agreement covers more than 4,000 stations in 12 countries and marks an important step in Löfbergs’ international growth.

“This is a very important partnership for us. Circle K is a strong, well-established player in Europe, and this agreement is a clear endorsement of our coffee offering – in terms of taste, quality, sustainability and overall performance – at an international level. We look forward to growing together and to continuing to develop the coffee experience at their stations,” says Trina Törnqvist, Chief International Business Officer at Löfbergs.

The expanded partnership means that Löfbergs coffee will be gradually rolled out across Circle K stations in countries including Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Baltic states. The collaboration is already established in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Ireland. In total, Circle K operates around 5,200 stations in Europe, of which more than 4,000 offer coffee.

The agreement runs for three years, with a mutual target to grow volumes. The range will be based on an efficient and quality-assured setup, consisting of whole beans and ground coffee.

For Circle K, the choice of coffee partner was clear.

“With a long-established heritage in coffee, Löfbergs brings strong expertise in quality, sourcing, sustainability, and innovation. Following several months of collaboration, we look forward to bringing new blends, recipes, and innovations to our customers across our European network.

Coffee remains at the core of Circle K’s customer offer, and over the next three years, Circle K will continue to invest significantly in our European coffee platform spanning self-serve, served, retail, and cold coffee concepts. Our ambition is to deliver a simplified, modern, and consistent coffee experience that our customers enjoy and trust,” says Alison Lynch, European Director Coffee & Dispensed Beverages at Circle K.

Sustainability is a central part of the collaboration. Löfbergs’ long-term work with responsible sourcing, close relationships with coffee farmers, and continuous quality and sustainability controls are key elements in Circle K’s ambition to build an attractive and sustainable coffee destination in Europe.

The partnership with Circle K strengthens Löfbergs’ position in the European market while also opening new opportunities for continued growth through the wholesale channel and new sales channels.
