​New national agreement – HSB and M, Volvo Car Mobility in partnership to provide increased access to shared mobility

HSB has entered into a new national agreement with M-Volvo Car Mobility to give more people access to a smarter way to have a car—including HSB’s members, employees, and all residents of future HSB housing projects.

The national agreement between HSB and M - Volvo Car Mobility is striking in its scale, enabling 24/7 car access for private and professional use both. From today, HSB members and housing associations will receive a favorable alternative to private car ownership while HSB employees and companies can use M to drive for work. In addition, HSB has the option to include M as a mobility solution in upcoming residential development projects.

Since its inception in 1923, HSB has been actively engaged in societal development, with a current focus on reducing the industry’s impact on the environment and climate, and on increasing sustainable alternatives to commuting. By partnering with M, Volvo Car Mobility; HSB gives its residents a smarter and more efficient alternative to traditional car ownership.

M’s shared mobility service helps to free up public space. Fewer cars mean fewer parking spaces—a significant benefit for property developers when one parking lot takes up about 25 square meters. From the customer's perspective, fewer cars don't have to mean less availability: M's unique and intelligent technology enables dynamic fleet optimization, ensuring that the right cars are available at the right time and that every car is used in a resource-efficient way.
