A huge congratulations to @Fuldkornspartnerskabet for making headlines far beyond Denmark – and for leading a true wholegrain revolution! 🌾
After @The Guardian’s recent feature on how Denmark changed the nation’s diet and health, Fuldkornspartnerskabet has seen a wave of interest from both private individuals and professionals around the world. From requests for English-language wholegrain recipes (now available!) to international organizations eager to learn from the Danish partnership model, the impact is clear: great communication can inspire real change.
Fuldkornspartnerskabet is a unique public-private partnership working to improve public health by encouraging Danes to eat more whole grains. With 29 partners, including the @Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, the @Cancer Society, the @Heart Foundation and leading food companies, the partnership has transformed eating habits across the country.
The results speak for themselves:
🥖 Before Fuldkornspartnerskabet, Danes ate just 36 grams of whole grain per day.
🌾 Today, the average is 82 grams per day, and over 1,000 products now carry the orange wholegrain logo.
