Press release -

NNIT navigates a difficult 2025 with lower revenue but emerges leaner, more agile and positioned for growth in 2026

NNIT today releases its Annual Report for2025, a year characterized by a challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical environment that weighed on customer activity and delayed several projects. Revenue and profitability declined year‑over‑year, and overall financial performance was not satisfactory.

At the same time, 2025 marked a year of strategic progress. NNIT took decisive action to refine its commercial setup, strengthen its operational foundation, and structurally lower its cost base. The company also launched several growth initiatives that will support future performance, accelerated its use of AI for customers and internally, and improved its utilization across its regions.

“We openly acknowledge that 2025 did not meet our financial expectations. Global uncertainty and postponed customer investments impacted our business, particularly in Europe and the US. Yet, the progress we achieved operationally has transformed how we operate and positioned NNIT well for the coming years,” says Pär Fors, CEO, NNIT, and continues:

“We are now a leaner, more agile organization with a sharper commercial execution mindset. As we move into 2026, our focus remains on profitable growth - utilizing the strategic initiatives launched last year, expanding our services within AI and digital transformation, and continuing to be a trusted partner to our customers worldwide. I am confident that these efforts will translate into improved performance and stronger value creation moving forward.”

Despite the challenging market environment, NNIT is pleased to see customer satisfaction increase from 4.5 in 2024 to 4.6 out of 5 in 2025 - underlining the strong trust customers place in NNIT and the consistent quality of its delivery even amid global uncertainty.

Key highlights2025

  • Full-year revenue amounted to DKK 1,788 million, a reported decline of 3.4% and organic decline of 2.8%
  • Operating profit before special items was DKK 94 million, corresponding to a margin of 5.3%
  • Special items totalled DKK 83 million, largely related to restructuring costs, earn‑out payments, and board‑initiated strategic projects
  • Structural cost reductions and efficiency initiatives implemented during 2025 have strengthened NNIT’s platform for future growth and profitability

Regional performance highlights

  • Region US: Revenue declined as a result of postponed contracts and lower project activity toward the end of the year. Despite this, the region delivered a higher profit margin, driven by its focus on repeatable service offerings and disciplined cost control, confirming the strength of its operating model
  • Region Europe: Revenue decreased amid ongoing market caution and delayed customer projects in the life science industry. However, profitability improved thanks to structural cost reductions, capacity optimization, and stronger operational efficiency, illustrating that the region remains well managed despite market headwinds
  • Region Asia: Revenue increased as the region successfully expanded its customer base and extended long‑term engagements. Profitability improved markedly due to efficiency gains, cost discipline, and the positive impact of the turnaround programme initiated in 2024, securing a solid foundation for continued progress
  • Region Denmark: Revenue increased, supported by strong activity in the public sector and solid growth through SCALES. The region’s profitability was slightly lower due to a reallocation of corporate costs, but underlying earnings improved through better utilization and efficiency gains

Outlookfor2026

NNIT enters 2026 as a more resilient and focused organization with a solid foundation for profitable growth. The company expects to deliver constant currency revenue growth in the range 0-5% and an operating profit margin before special items between 6-9%, supported by new public sector projects, more customer engagements in the medium sized life science market segment, and improved utilization.
