New report: Nysnø`s investments will avoid 7 million tonnes CO2 emissions by 2030

In March, Nysnø launched the report “How to measure climate impact”, outlining a methodology for calculating avoided greenhouse gas emissions. Now, the method has been applied to Nysnø´s own portfolio, and the company’s direct investments are estimated to contribute to 7.2 million tonnes avoided CO2 emissions by 2030.

Nysnø invests in the technology company REEtec. It has developed a new separation technology for environmentally friendly and efficient processing of rare earths elements, used in growth markets within the energy transition. The company is now raising NOK 1.2 billion from LKAB, Nysnø Climate Investments, Mercuria, Techmet and existing shareholders to build a full-scale industrial plant at Herøya.

Tise is a leading app for second-hand purchases in the Nordics, with over 2.5 million registered users. Nysnø Climate Investments, Bring Ventures, eBay Ventures and existing investors invest a total of NOK 200 million for the company's further growth.
