Welcome to Pori. One of our new data center facilities in the Nordics, with a unique backstory. On the side of the road, a rocky hillside rises from the landscape, covered with forest on top. Carved out of solid bedrock by the Finnish Defense Forces in the 1960’s, its nine tunnel halls were built to store military ammunition, but were never used for that purpose. Today, Glesys operates 8,500 m2 of this underground space as modern server infrastructure, with a total site capacity of 11 MW and room for both shared and dedicated deployments. The site runs on 100% renewable energy, with an on-site solar plant on top of the facility contributing to the mix. Welcome to Pori datacenter, a better place for data.
