Participatory performance and performance as pedagogy in Marija Griniuk's MFA solo exhibition
Opening 6 February at 4 pm in Trapphusgalleriet at Konstfack. Eclectic Terrain is Marija Griniuk’s investigation into different formats of documentation of participatory practises. She is working with participatory performance and performance as pedagogy. These practices are focused onsites of meetings between facilitators and participants.

Possible futures within artistic research – welcome to Konstfack Research Week 27–31 January

Articulated power by Jumana Manna – artist talk at Konstfack
Please join for the first Artist Talk of the year, arranged by Konstfack's Department of Fine Art. Jumana Manna (b. 1987) is a visual artist working primarily with film and sculpture. Her work explores how power is articulated through relationships, often focusing on the body and materiality in relation to narratives of nationalism, and histories of place.

I vårens stora utställning på Accelerator intar konstnären Johanna Gustafsson Fürst, också lektor på Konstfacks institution för konst, konsthallens samtliga utställningssalar med skulpturer och installationer. Utställningen "Ympa orden, piska min tunga" öppnar på Accelerator den 17 januari 2020 och pågår hela våren.

Between chance, structure, spatiality and time – Jonas Törnkvist's MFA solo exhibition at Konstfack
The exhibition consists of a series of abstract paintings; an Interplay between chance, structure, spatiality and time. Different variations of directions connect in subtle constellations and in drastic cuts. Daily impressions are filtered through the painter's hand out onto the canvas, consisting of both transparent and opaque color layers.

Bara som skapande. Om konstpraktik som meningsskapande och reflexiv process, belyst genom konstlärarens yrkeskunnande. Katji Lindberg disputerar 7 november 2019 i "studier av profesjonspraksis" vid Nord universitet i norska Bodö. Lindberg har bedrivit forskarutbildning på Konstfack och Nord universitet och disputationen görs i samarbete mellan dessa lärosäten.

Sharing diverse realities, conditions and strategies – 19 international artists explore artistic research
Developed and curated by Basak Senova, the extensive exhibition of CrossSections with 19 participating artists is the first international exhibition taking place at Konstfack. This is a result of an on-going collaboration since 2017 and an important step forward toward expanding Konstfack’s international position and its exhibitions program.

Andrea Peach ny professor i konsthantverk med inriktning konsthantverkshistoria och -teori
– Jag ser fram emot att bli en del av institutionen för konsthantverk på Konstfack, säger Andrea Peach, som i sin pedagogik huvudsakligen motiveras av att uppmuntra sina studenter att tänka kritiskt: låta dem föra samman teori och praktik samt undersöka och använda sig av idéer på samma sätt som av fysiska material.
