Nominations to the Bertebos Prize – before 15 September 2025
Time to nominate for the 2026 Bertebos Prize – SEK 400,000 (approx. EUR 36,000). The prize this year aims to reward innovative and ground-breaking research and development within the area of agriculture and food research.
Please nominate candidates within research and development that has made significant contributions to the interface between ecology and food production. The focus will be on research of high scientific quality, high innovation and relevance for the value chain, and of importance for achieving improved sustainability. Candidates should have contributed to significant research and development in the interface between ecology and food production.
The Bertebos Prize was established in 1996 by the Bertebos Foundation on the initiative of then Chairman Mr. Olof Stenström and his wife, Mrs. Brita Stenström. The prize aims to reward innovative and ground-breaking research and development within the area of agriculture and food research. The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) has been entrusted by the Bertebos Foundation to select the laureate. The Prize is awarded biannually. As part of the prize, the recipient has the opportunity to organize a seminar in cooperation with the academy and in dialogue with the Bertebos Foundation.
