    Five days to go until the opening of the Eurovision Village and the City of Malmö is releasing new artists for the programme. Iconic Swedish pop group the Herreys celebrates a 40-year career and makes a visit to Malmö. The Eurovision week also offers nostalgia with Pandora and Da Buzz, and a visit from many people's favourite Finn Käärijä, and Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine.

    Eurovision Village to host some of the competing artists at Euphoria stage

    We can finally announce that several of the competing artists will be performing at the Euphoria stage in Eurovision Village throughout the week. In several cases, the artists will perform their entries in the park before taking the stage at the Malmö Arena. The audience can also expect some surprise hits.

    Eurovision final to be shown on big screens in Eurovision Village

    The live broadcast of the Eurovision final from Malmö Arena will be shown on big screens in the Eurovision Village, Folkets Park in Malmö on May 11. The public screening starts at 21:00 CET. Fifteen minutes before that, at 20:45, the hosts will start on stage. Admission is free and does not require a ticket.

    No bags allowed at events during Eurovision in Malmö

    As Malmö hosts the Eurovision Song Contest, the world's biggest music competition, bags will be banned in Folkets Park and at Malmö Live. At the same time, the city is looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors. This was the focus of yesterday's press conference.

    Eurovision in Malmö: A sneak peak of the host city's festivities

    When people from over 80 countries come to Malmö, the city wants to offer a broad and unique programme for everyone. The programme is being organized together with the civil society along with Malmö's cultural and business community. With just over 40 days to go until the start of Eurovision week, the City of Malmö is giving a first sneak peak of its hosting.
