Eva Westermark joins Open as Senior Account Manager
A globetrotting ad pro with a penchant for yoga, Eva brings just the right balance of experience and common sense needed to keep our global team well grounded. Welcome aboard Eva!
Having lived and worked in Australia, London and Stockholm, Eva is a multi-tasking internationalist with just the right attitude for Open (Gotcha Eva!). Not only did she fit right in to the Open culture, she hit the ground running, assuming responsibility for cross-border communication projects being run out of Shanghai, Munich, Graz and Stockholm.
A true problem solver
Positive and upbeat, Eva is a classic “problem solver” who is highly structured and knows her way around the block when it comes to international marketing communications. During her career, she has worked as an account manager at Ogilvy, Lowe Brindfors and McCann for customers ranging from Eniro (search service) to Kraft, Electrolux, Alfa Laval, Marbodal and Sandvik.
From Alfa Laval to Sandvik
While at Ehrenstråhle BBDO for five year, she worked on international B2B assignments for customers such as Alfa Laval, Sandvik and SKF. She rapidly gained a reputation for “taking the stress out” of her projects by ensuring on-time delivery – to budget. In addition to traditional media channels like film, radio and print, she’s handled quite a few assignments involving digital, social media and mobile apps.
Artistic soul at heart
What few people may know about Eva is that she got her start as a graphic designer and even ran her own business for eight years. She also has a secret love of Icelandic horses.
