Full stack web designers can now get paid, even if their prospects hire a cheaper coder
Let's say you are a web designer. Ordinarily you create wireframes and website designs in Figma.
One day you receive a request from a prospect to re-design their website. You get to work producing something in the hope they like it enough to pay you to turn your designs into code.
The problem is when the client tells you they don’t like the designs, only to have another developer implement them. Worst of all, it’s not long before you see your designs implemented on the website of your prospect, without any recognition, let alone payment.
Now with PitchMark® Ideas.Exchange you register your Figma designs and send them to your client with your PitchMark certificate.
Now you offer a choice: either they can award the web creation contract to you so you can implement your designs, or they can license your designs from you. That way you get paid, even if they ask another developer to work on the website.
You still might not like them finding someone else to turn your Figma into reality, but at least you get paid for your creativity, your time and your experience – which you didn’t get before. Besides, now you don’t have all the work associated with the execution of the project.
Best of all, you get paid by credit card straight away when you transfer the certificate to the client.
