Press release -

Trends in property automation at Nordbygg 2022

We can finally start counting down to Nordbygg 2022. Society is opening up and we are allowed to meet again in real life, without a digital screen between us. Fidelix, one of the fair’s faithful exhibitors, is looking forward to the Nordbygg comeback.

– We feel an enormous joy to be able to meet up again, says Tomas Frändén, CEO of Fidelix AB and Larmia Control AB.

New technology and digitalisation are playing a greater role in the public construction sector, not least within property automation. A whopping 40 percent of the energy usage in Europe comes from properties, which makes the need for sustainable and climate-smart solutions in property automation all the greater.

AI with automatic learning with the help of data, conceptual solutions with secure connections, energy optimisation and cloud services are some of the methods trending in property automation. Fidelix together with its subsidiary Larmia Control and sister company EcoGuard, will during Nordbygg be showing their smart solutions for a better indoor climate which makes it easier for property owners.

– At our stand, the visitors to Nordbygg will be able to take part of a new cloud service and new technology connected to wireless data collection. We will also be launching a new Fidelix SCADA System, a superior computer system which gives a good overview over one’s properties, explains Tomas Frändén.

Nordbygg, a long-awaited meeting
After months of working from home where the majority of meetings have been digital, many are looking forward to meeting up in real life again. On April 26-29 2022, Nordbygg will finally open its doors.

– It’s going to be fantastic to visit Nordbygg again. It’s a fair where you can make an incredible number of new contacts and exchange knowledge and experiences with others in the industry, says Andrej Silverörn, Sales Manager at Congrid Sweden.

Recurring features at the fair in 2022
Just like previous years, the fair’s visitors will be able to follow the Nordbygg Gold Medal, a competition to highlight innovations in the construction industry and to appoint the hottest new product of the year. This year’s winner, despite the cancelled fair, was Hilti and their Exoskeleton.

The Exoskeleton HA EXO-01 is a support structure for the upper body to reduce the risk of stress injuries and will in the long term bring healthier employees and lower the sick leave figures as a result.

– It means a great deal to us to be awarded the Nordbygg Gold Medal and especially for our exoskeleton, which has a strong connection to safety and health which is something we are really passionate about and continuously want to improve in the industry, explains Marie Henryson, Marketing and Brand Developer at Hilti Sweden.
