Press release -

Extra focus on tech and the industry’s future development at Nordbygg

The restrictions have been lifted and noone is happier than we - finally we can meet at the most important construction meeting of the year. Nordbygg invites you to several stages with jam-packed programmes and something for every visitor, but there will be extra focus on tech and the industry’s future development.

A whole new section called the Innovation Arena will have its own space at Nordbygg.

– Innovation and development have always stood at the centre of Nordbygg. Many exhibitors save their launches for Nordbygg. That’s why it feels natural to have a feature which introduces start-ups and where we talk about ideas for the future and new research that can create use in the public construction sector, says Peter Söderberg, Project Manager at Nordbygg.

Sustainability is also in focus when Nordbygg opens up its doors and a first step to successively improve the industry regarding sustainability is the new climate declaration. In the latest Nordbygg Talks, climate declarations are discussed from two different perspectives. We are introduced to Alexander Landborn, founder of ClimateWorks, and Johan Bengtsson, lawyer at Foyen Advokatbyrå.

Recurring exhibitor

Hikoki is the youngest brand among the big tool suppliers today. It is four years since the well-known Hitachi Power Tools changed names to Hikoki Power Tools. Joakim Berg, Product Manager at Hikoki Power Tools, has been to Nordbygg several times before, both for Hikoki and for previous employers.

– There are still many end users who don’t know our new identity, to communicate that will be our main focus for Nordbygg 2022 explains. We really look forward to the dialogue with our customers, especially those who use our tools. Nordbygg 2022 can be a new start for the industry, says Joakim Berg, Product Manager at Hikoki Power Tools.
