Press release -

Visitor registration for Nordbygg is finally open

We can finally start counting down to a new instalment of Nordbygg 2022 this Spring. You can already secure your ticket to the fair, since visitor registration opened up a few days ago. Inspiration, new products, interesting seminars and rewarding meetings are just some of the things that Nordbygg will offer on April 26-29.

The most important construction meeting of the year is back and we are now working intensively to complete everything before we open up this year, after having been away for far too long. It is almost 4 years since the last Nordbygg fair and we are all incredibly excited about seeing each other again in the Spring.

– We are really looking forward to meeting up in real life and it will be a grand reunion with old colleagues in the industry, but certainly also many new faces that have been added during these years, – There will be three stages with a full program consisting of the Energy Smart stage, the Indoor Climate Arena and Nordbygg Talks Live on the big stage. We will have a full-day program of lectures and seminars the whole week and of course lots of news from the around 830 exhibitors, says Peter Söderberg, Project Manager at Nordbygg.

Sustainability project had its starting signal at Nordbygg

Nordbygg’s ambition is to partake in driving the development of sustainability forward. A sustainability project that had its external starting signal at the fair in 2018 is Project Hoppet. It is an innovation project to construct fossil free and reduce climate impact, and it is the first construction project of its kind in Sweden. When the preschool opened in January this year, it had already lowered the climate-affecting emissions by a whopping 70 percent compared to a conventionally constructed preschool.

The fair put the project in contact with the people we hoped to reach before commencing with the construction and also gave us the chance to spread the word on our investment.

– There was great interest in our project at Nordbygg 2018 and we look forward to seeing how the industry has changed since 2018 and until today. I believe and hope that there will be greater awareness on climate impact and that the correct material is chosen for specific applications in our properties, says Anders Hall, Project Manager at premises management for the city of Gothenburg.
