Emora Limited's Managing Director, Lauren Harrison recently received an exclusive invitation to talk at an industry seminar in London near Westminster. The entrepreneur was asked to give a keynote speech on talent acquisition due to Emora Limited’s recent shift in company culture and a revised focus on talent acquisition.

Ms. Harrison was asked to give a keynote speech on day three of the event, held at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank to sales and marketing owners from across the entirety of the UK. The entrepreneur was eager to discuss her recent focus shift within the business that has had dramatic effects on talent retention.

The business owner detailed her aspirations for the business, recognising what aspects of the business model needed modification to reach such objectives. Ms. Harrison assessed the company’s pipeline by investigating their source report, role advertisements and separating her business from others within the city of Nottingham.

The entrepreneur shifted a focus to their company culture and was anxious to make this a priority, replicating the firm’s values through every aspect of their acquisition process from initial interview to observation days.

Ms. Harrison also advised business owners seeking to maximise their talent acquisition to go to their prospects, pinpointing their model contractor and appealing to them. The business owner has recently appeared at a graduate fair for University of Nottingham Graduates, alongside merchandise to convey their core values effectively, promote their development programme and elements aimed to attract candidates.

“One of the most vital things I have learned over the previous months is to attract your ideal contractors. We realised that to really attract young graduates we knew we had to build a rapport with each candidate. Our recent appearance at the University of Nottingham saw a huge influx of applications, and was an incredible experience,” declared the business owner.
