Emora Limited MD runs Company-wide Workshop on Generating a Positive Perspective

Entrepreneur and business owner, Lauren Harrison recently ran a company-wide workshop for contractors at the firm focused on the importance of perspective. Harrison focused the event on how perspective can have a significant influence on success within a business for both individuals and the company as a whole.

Emora Limited has recently turned their focus to the development of their company culture, which has been mirrored in recent workshops ran by the entrepreneur. Recently the idea of perspective was discussed in the hopes of modifying negative thought processes within the business, inspiring contractors to believe in themselves and inspire one another.

Emora Limited: About the company

Leading the workshop Harrison explored common conceptions that professionals often feel across a range of industries, how individuals often think that failure is permanent and reflects the abilities of that professional. The workshop explored the idea that feelings such as these reflect the seasons, it is often a natural cycle.

“The idea of this workshop was to inspire our contractors, and we want to support them in all of their aspirations. We are hopeful that these professionals resonate with one of our key values that the more challenges you go through, the stronger you become,” stated Harrison.

The workshop explored common challenges that are faced in such a competitive industry as the sales and marketing sector and beyond. Many professionals are attuned to comparing themselves to others, seeing other successes can often have a detrimental effect on one's own self-esteem. Harrison was eager to explore that there is a wealth of challenges behind this facade that are often not made public.

“We’re hopeful that talks and discussions such as this one will help our professionals to become more conscious of their decisions. Once this becomes a mindful habit, it will become automatic. I have been a strong supporter of facing what happens to you with a positive attitude, positively perceiving challenges with a new perspective,” concluded the business owner.
